The New York Times Schools for Tomorrow conference underway this morning is addressing key questions that are at the forefront of the news headlines this week. Issues like how to measure teacher performance and how to support teachers along the way are on the agenda. SchoolBook will be monitoring the discussion, and following it the Twitter #nytedtech conversation. Join us, and weigh in.

Local school leaders will be a part of the conversation this afternoon, when School Chancellor Dennis Walcott is speaking as well as Deborah Kenny, the founder of Harlem Village Academies and Eric Schwarz, co-founder of the Citizen Schools.
