City Takes a Role in Planning Four New Charters
Mayor Michael Bloomberg said his private foundation has "nothing to do with" four new charter schools that are being designed with help from the Department of Education.   • All students must choose a Career and Technical Education Program of Study (POS) from the following four maritime related areas: Marine Technology
  • Marine Science
  • Marine Policy and SCUBA diving. A Program of Study concludes with a senior internship at a relevant maritime or marine-related business in the New York City area. Students who successfully complete a POS receive a special industry and college approved credential on their high school diploma. Students are also required to take Advisory for two years. We offer free Semester Exchange Programs with The Island School in the Bahamas
