Teachers Turn Out in Force at PEP Meeting
As threatened, teachers and teachers' union staff members packed the auditorium of the Brooklyn Technical High School on Wednesday night for the meeting of the Panel for Educational Policy. Carrying signs, blowing whistles and booing loudly, they at times drowned out panel members, as well as parents and teachers trying to address the room during the public comment period.
