Three Shelter Buildings to Remain Closed
Three school buildings that served as hurricane shelters will remain closed on Wednesday while students will return to other schools that had provided shelter to hurricane evacuees the past week. Read More »
City Withdraws Plans to Close Seven Schools
New York City's Department of Education withdrew its plans on Monday to close seven schools and reopen them this summer, but officials said they would proceed with plans to close 26 others.
